The Client

Our client was in the process of separating and as part of the divorce settlement, was obligated to redeem his ex-wife’s mortgage. He also needed to remortgage his own property and ideally wanted to combine the total borrowing into one facility. Having recently sold his business, he wasn’t receiving any income, therefore, was unable to source a mortgage from a retail bank and was required to proceed with an asset-based loan.
