An existing client was approaching the end of their current mortgage product and needed to arrange replacement borrowing before the existing deal expired.

Rather than waiting until the renewal deadline was close, we began the review in advance. This created time to assess the available options properly and secure suitable terms before the product end date.

The Solution

We reviewed the remortgage options available and secured a competitive replacement product ahead of the existing mortgage expiry. Following submission, market pricing moved adversely. Because the client’s new product had already been secured, they retained the earlier rate rather than being exposed to the higher pricing that became available later.
